Shopping on a budget isn’t easy, especially if you’re a “buy now, cry later” type like myself. I’ve collected some tips that help me a lot when I’m out shopping and I thought I would share them with you.
1. Quality over Quantity
It is not how much you have, but how you use what you have. Therefore, having good, strong long lasting pieces might cost you initially, but they pay for themselves in the long run. Imagine having to buy a new black blazer every 6 months, that blazer might cost you $30, but in 2 years, you will have spent $120. I have a blazer that have been going strong for 3 years now. Saving up and investing in quality pieces, is a timeless money saver.
2. Needs First
Buying what you need first means that you cover necessary bases. Basics that you can wear with multiple items will fall under these categories; white t-shirts, blazers, black heels are great ‘needs first’ items.
