I know it’s cliché to say, but I love food. Who doesn’t love food, really? I have a major sweet tooth and love to binge on junk food. However, in no way do I condone this diet.
I used to consider myself a fairly healthy eater (although some would still concur – I’m a vegetarian and gluten free – so by mother nature’s sake I guess I am). However, being tempted with so many amazing restaurants and ‘Insta-worthy’ dessert spots, I’ve definitely been eating a lot worse lately than I should be.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to get back on track #NewUsNewYou. I decided to drag my co-worker on the quest for health with me – If I couldn’t eat the office cookies than neither could she!
Since I didn’t want to completely give up going out to eat, I set out to prove to myself that restaurant food could not only taste great, but also be great for you. (and of course it had to be just as insta worthy!). That’s when I discovered Kupfert & Kim.
Kupfert & Kim is a Toronto based quick service restaurant who’s food is plant-based, minimally processed and all wheatless and meatless! Almost everything is made in house from scratch and is made with fresh products. Sounded super healthy to me!
But would the food taste as good as it is for you?
Well the answer is yes, food can (and did) taste as great as it is for you.
Kupfert & Kim graciously provided us with an assortment of items from their menu. The food was bright and beautiful looking and every bite was delightful.
What we tried:
- Green smoothie
- Blueberry smoothie
- Poke bowl
- Cauliflower Tahini bowl
- An assortment of desserts
We left super full but didn’t have that gross bloated feeling that you would usually have when you eat too much.
I’ll definitely be going back to Kupfert & Kim and continuing my quest for health. (Although I can’t promise the chocolate binging will stop…)
All done! (The food was amazing but the portions are so big – we were very full)
Thank you Kupfert & Kim!
All opinions are our own
P.S. these sure beat my dessert Insta pictures!
