Glossier is finally in Toronto – well, it was only here for a week, but I can not tell you how excited I was to go and shop all the goodies. I have heard nothing but good things about the products and couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. The pop-up appeared at 1056 Queen Street West on Friday, September 8th and stayed until Thursday, September 14th. If you missed it, you can totally still order online!
This week I loved Super Size Me 2. I attended the world premiere for TIFF, and had the best time. The documentary was hilarious and I was so glad I got to meet the film maker Morgan Spurlock and the rest of the cast and crew. Plus, they even had a chicken truck out front with FREE chicken – like the one mentioned in the film. This movie is totally a must watch!
OMG! I am totally in love with Pony Tail Mail! These handmade ribbon hair ties are made in Canada and won’t crease or rip your hair. Plus, they are WAY cuter than conventional hair ties. They are totally like a new accessory to me, instead of an eye sore on my wrist. Total arm party :p
Is it 5 o’clock yet? I’m loving the new Flat Roof Manor wine. Flat Roof Manor wine comes from the Western Cape of South Africa, with the taste of fruit being emphasized with offerings of dried peach, apricot and a hint of lychee. Perfect for a warm summer day or snuggling up with a blanket on a crisp Fall evening. Pass me my wine glass!
My favourite this week has been the release of the album Lovers by the Norwegian group Anna Of The North.
After a summer filled with dance anthems it is time for a more mellow wind down fall and this album couldn’t have dropped at a better time. There isn’t a song I don’t like. The track Someone has a Kim Carnes – Bette Davis Eyes sample which already makes it one of my faves
It is definitely going to be my go-to background music for those nights spent in a bubble bath, candles, glass of wine and forgetting all my troubles
