I love shopping. Who doesn’t love shopping! My bank account — that’s who!
While shopping is supposed to be fun and a stress relief – it can often end up being stressful when you get your bank statement at the end of the month.
But who says you have to spend a fortune to look like a million bucks?
To celebrate our fresh new site, we decided to go shopping — the catch is, it had to be under $100!
Our first stop was Zara. Zara is moderately priced and good for finding trendy pieces with a decent quality. Unfortunately, we had no luck here. The fit on the pieces we tried on were not great, and the nicer items ate up more than half our budget! Onto the next.
We then stopped into Old Navy. They were having a really great sale! I managed to grab a pair of jeans for $15! They fit absolutely perfectly, and for an amazing price.
The next stop was H&M. This is where we hit the jackpot. Turtlenecks are always a trend, and we managed to find a super cute mauve coloured one for only $34.99. Since we were still under budget, a semi see-through kimono inspired shirt was also selected for $34.99. The piece is super versatile as it can also be worn as a dress.
Unfortunately, there were no good sales on shoes, but black boots that were already in my closet were matched with the outfit.
The shirts could be swapped out to be paired with the jeans- and so technically we got 2 new looks for under $100!
