For the longest time, Gin has been my poison of choice. I remember back in university pouring a cool G&T while wearing an old canary yellow alpaca cardigan when my room mate called me a grandma – welp I was a cool grandma in any case!
– FAST FORWARD –
Gin and tonics are still my happy hour drink of choice and Toronto is heating up so why not mix the two right? These are most DEFINITELY going to be my treat of the summer! They are tangy, a lil’ sour and oh so good.
Here is what you gotta do!
G&T POPSICLES
Step 1:
Get yourself some cute popsicle trays! I got mine at the Dollarama, which was a steal of a deal for obvious reasons. You can also find them on Amazon, or at places like Wal-Mart or Canadian tire.
Step 2:
Select your gin of choice. This time around I wanted to keep it Canadian so I used Dillon’s Gin.
Step 3:
Choose what style of G&T you want to create. I decided to go for the classic drink with the lime but you can always switch things up and do a cool cucumber or perhaps an herbal lavender, mix it up!
Step 4:
Literally pour all your G&T fixings in a bowl, mix ’em up, and fill those popsicles!
Step 5:
FREEZE
Step 6:
ENJOY
The recipe for goodness?

Zest of one lime
Combine all, mix it up and pour into your trays. Freeze these babies over night; you will get six pops outta this mix!
