Every month Annabelle and Melinda sit around the office talking about what they got in their Ipsy bags – so we thought why not share it with everyone else! Here’s what we loved, hated, and can’t wait to try again!

bellápierre StayPut Brow Gel in Cardamom
I’m a big fan of this product – Ipsy managed to send me a perfect match for my brows. It’s highly pigmented and buildable, giving me that deep, bold brow that I love. It really fills in between the hairs and gives you that feathery, natural look. I love how the application brush is built into the top seal. Very convenient!

EMMA V.S.N.P. Nail Polish
This nail polish is the only item I wasn’t keen on this month. Not because of the brand, or the fact that it is nail polish, but it is just not a colour I would generally wear. I do like the name of the colour though “15 Mins of Fame” and the brand definitely has some colours I would like to check out, but unfortunately they don’t ship to Canada, so thanks Ipsy?

Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo
I already know I’m going to get a lot of use out of this dry shampoo. It’s way different than any other I’ve used before. Forget that powdery residue- this one’s lightweight and leaves your hair soft & silky. When I first applied this, it really felt like cool fresh air hitting my roots. I love the fresh scent and how it isn’t overwhelming. This is the perfect premium product for extending your blow outs and it ultimately prevents damage too because you’re not using the blowdryer or straightener as often.

Heavy Cream Intensely Smoothing Body Balm by Cake beauty.
I love this cruelty free brand, and it’s Canadian too! This lotion has my favourite ingredients I look for in a body lotion. It’s made with aloe vera, coconut oil, shea butter & Green Tea and it smells SO good.

FRÉ Revive Me Serum
If you go exercise and sweat frequently, you’re going to want to add this to your gym bag. This one’s made for active women and skin that sweats. When sweat combines with harmful environments like the sun, pollution and dryness, it takes a toll on your skin. The Revive Me Serum protects. It contains MUCHO anti-aging benefits and keeps your skin hydrated and fresh. I already have less breakouts after using this for 1 week.

Trust Fund Beauty Lip Scrub
This product couldn’t have come at a better time. This crazy January weather has left my lips dry and miserable. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me. I get better results from a toothbrush and some petroleum jelly type product.

theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer
Both of us received this product this month and we are thrilled. This is one of the OG of highlighters, before everyone started using it on the daily. It’s a great highlighter to use on all the hot spots: top of the cheekbones, eyebrow bone, length and tip of nose. But be warned, that this one has a lot more shine to it, so use sparingly! If it’s too much, soften it with your powder brush. In my opinion, it makes me look perfectly dewy! You can use as eyeshadow too. Good choice Ipsy!

KOKIE Kissable Liquid Lipstick in Desire
This is another product that we both received. I (Melinda) am not crazy about this shade (a little too pink in my opinion) but Annabelle loves it and it is a great product. The liquid glides on velvety and dries with a nice matte, light-weight finish. It’s not sticky or crumbly like most liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. Very little transferred onto my afternoon coffee cup rim and it was fairly long-lasting.
