September is here! Those summer nights are almost over and sweaters are being pulled out of our closets as we recover from our summer vacation brains. Time to cuddle up on the couch and catch up on all those novels that you haven’t had time to read. Here are some new, exciting reads you should consider!

This historical novel reads like a biography and follows the creation of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test. This test is used regularly by massive amounts of colleges, universities, hospitals, and military to provide which kind of personalities we have. The book highlights how this homegrown multiple choice questionnaire was introduced to all aspects of our lives. This book was so interesting that I thought about it even when I wasn’t reading it, this test is incorporated into our lives in so many ways that it has become a cultural icon!

So, she takes a job as a caregiver to a cancer patient, who reminds her of her mother. The author, Samuel Park passed away due to stomach cancer shortly after completing this novel, making it a beautiful yet heartbreaking read you won’t want to put down. Get ready for the tears with this one.
