Definitions, Objective and Scope of Policy
Sheblogs Media is committed to protecting User privacy. The following policy describes how Sheblogs Media collects, stores, uses and distributes information about Users.

Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, the User consents to the collection and use by Sheblogs Media, Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy, and agrees to all the terms in this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information
Two types of information may be collected through the Service: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
“Personal Information” is personally identifiable information, such as a User?s name, address, e-mail address, birth date and gender. Depending on the settings and configuration of the community, Sheblogs Media may collect vary degrees of Personal Information. At the time of collection, Sheblogs Media will set out clearly the information that Sheblogs Media is collecting and the purposes for which Sheblogs Media will use it. It is always a User?s choice whether or not to provide Personal Information. If a User chooses not to provide requested Personal Information, the User will not be able to use certain features of the Service and the User will not be able to engage in use certain Service capabilities. The following is a list of the means by which Sheblogs Media may collect Personal Information through the Service:
- Account registration;
- User profile page;
- Communications from a User (e.g. creating content, sending messages within the community, or e-mails to Sheblogs Media);
- Customer and/or User support;
- User feedback forms; and
- User invitations.
Sheblogs Media also collects Personal Information such as a User?s e-mail address and User ID along with Non-Personal Information such as browser type and version through various forms (e.g. Report Bugs, Give Feedback, Report Abuse, and Suggest Features). In addition, if a Bobble (a conversation started by a User) is flagged, using the flag option in a bobble, the bobble ID and the users ID (as assigned during registration) is also collected.
“Non-Personal Information” is information of an anonymous nature, such as an Internet Protocol Address (IP Address), the domain used to access the Service, and the type and version of browser or operating system being used. Aggregate information, such as demographic statistics of Users (e.g. average age or geographical allocation of Users), number of visitors, what pages Users access or visit, average time spent on a web page or using the Service, and information volunteered by the User, such as survey information, is also considered Non-Personal Information. Business contact information such as the name, title, business address or telephone number of a business or professional person or an employee of an organization is not considered Personal Information.
Non-Personal Information is collected or derived by us in the course of operating this website. For example, our web servers may automatically collect Non-Personal Information which is provided through your browser or stored on a Cookie when you choose to visit our Website.
Non-Personal Information is collected or derived by Sheblogs Media in the course of operating this Service. For example, Sheblogs Media?s web servers may automatically collect Non-Personal Information which is provided through a User?s browser or stored on a Cookie when a User chooses to visit the Service.
“Cookies” are used by Sheblogs Media to track content usage and traffic within the Service. A cookie is a feature of a web browser that consists of a text file that is placed on a User?s hard disk by a web page server. Sheblogs Media uses cookies to store Users preferences, record session information, such as recording User-specific information on the pages a User accesses or visits, alerting Users to new areas that Sheblogs Media thinks might be of interest to them when they return to the Service, recording past activity at a web page in order to provide better service when Users return to the Service, ensuring that Users are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads, customizing web page content based on Users browser types or other information A User can set his or her browser to notify the User when he or she is sent a cookie. This gives a User the chance to decide whether or not to accept a cookie. If a User disables cookies however, he or she may not be able to take advantage of all the features of the Service.
Ad servers: To try and bring Users offers that are of interest to Users, Sheblogs Media has relationships with other companies that Sheblogs Media allows to place ads within the Service. As a result, by using the Service, ad server companies may collect information such as a User?s domain type, IP address and clickstream information.

Use of Information
Sheblogs Media collects information only for the following purposes:
- - To contact and correspond with Users (e.g. to notify Users of updates to the Service);
- - To allow Users to communicate with other Users through the Service;
- - To understand Users needs and to develop and recommend suitable products and services;
- - To facilitate and enhance Users use of the Service; and
- - To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
If a User supplies Sheblogs Media with that Users postal address on-line the User will only receive the information for which the User provided us his or her address.

Disclosure of Information
Sheblogs Media will not transfer Personal Information to third parties, except to Sheblogs Media?s business partners who have agreed to comply with legally required privacy standards, and who will use the information only for the purposes disclosed at the time of collection or for a use consistent with that purpose.
From time to time Sheblogs Media may employ third parties to help Sheblogs Media improve the Service. These third parties may have limited access to Service-related databases containing User information solely for the purpose of helping Sheblogs Media to improve the Service and such third parties will not be able to use the information about Users for any other purpose.
Sheblogs Media may disclose Personal Information in some other limited circumstances, but Sheblogs Media will specifically describe them to Users when Sheblogs Media collects the information, such as in the terms of use for a new service feature.
Important Exceptions
Sheblogs Media may disclose a User?s Personal Information to a third party without that Users consent if Sheblogs Media has reason to believe that disclosing that Personal Information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Sheblogs Media?s rights or property, other users of the Service or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Sheblogs Media may disclose a User?s Personal Information when Sheblogs Media believes in good faith that such disclosure is required by and in accordance with the law.

Outside Parties and Sites
By using the Service a User may be introduced to a variety of third party vendors and websites. The privacy policies of these third parties are not under Sheblogs Media?s control and may differ from the Sheblogs Media Privacy Policy. The use of any information that a User may provide to any third party, or the use of “cookie” technology by any third party, will be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the website that such User is visiting. If a User has any doubts about the privacy of the information he or she is providing on another website, Sheblogs Media recommends that the User contact that website directly for more information and review its privacy policy.

Security
The security of each User?s Personal Information is important to Sheblogs Media. Sheblogs Media uses commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain Users Personal Information in a secure environment. Sheblogs Media takes technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps to protect Personal Information that Users provide to Sheblogs Media. Sheblogs Media has implemented procedures so that your Personal Information is only made available to such designated staff as are necessary to carry out the stated purposes that Sheblogs Media has communicated to its Users.
Users can help protect the security of their Personal Information. For instance, a User should never give out his or her password, and a User should remember to log out of his or her account and close his or her browser windows when the User finishes using the Service, so that other people using the same computer won’t have access to the User?s Personal Information. Sheblogs Media will never ask a User for his or her password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail.

Retention
Sheblogs Media will keep each User?s Personal Information for as long as it remains necessary for the identified purpose or as required by law, which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with the User.
If a User requests that his or her name be removed from Sheblogs Media?s databases, it may not be possible to completely delete all of the Users Personal Information due to technological and legal constraints.

Amendment of this Policy
If Sheblogs Media finds it necessary or desirable to change this Privacy Policy in the future, Sheblogs Media will post an appropriate notice on the Service home page. Any change to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the date the change is posted and will apply to information collected from the date of the posting of the revised Privacy Policy and to existing information held by Sheblogs Media. The date on which the latest update was made is indicated at the top of this document. Sheblogs Media recommends that Users print a copy of this Privacy Policy for their reference and revisit this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure awareness of any changes. A User?s continued use of the Service signifies his or her acceptance of any changes.

Access and Accuracy
Each User has the right to access his or her Personal Information to verify the Personal Information that Sheblogs Media has collected in respect to such User. Upon receipt of a User?s written request, Sheblogs Media will provide that User with a copy of his or her Personal Information. Sheblogs Media will make every reasonable effort to keep each User?s Personal Information accurate and up-to-date, and Sheblogs Media will enable each User to revise his or her Personal Information as appropriate. Having accurate Personal Information about Users enables Sheblogs Media to give Users the best possible service.
Users can help by keeping Sheblogs Media informed of any changes such as a change of location or personal details. If a User would like to access his or her Personal Information, or if a User finds any errors in the Personal Information that Sheblogs Media has about that User, please contact your Community Admin.
Sheblogs Media will endeavour to deal with all such requests for access and modifications in a timely manner.
