Gracie:
I’m a sucker for accessories, and when I saw this Vancouver-based jewelry company’s products, I died (in the best way possible). Their pieces are so unique and minimalistic, and right up my alley. I just got two pairs of earrings - one pair of studs and one hoop and can not wait to show them off!
Melinda:
I just returned back from a vacation in Mexico and the weather wasn’t as caliente as it usually is this time of year. I spent the days chasing the sun and diving into a new beach book that turned out to be an amazing read. I highly suggest The Dictionary of Animal Languages by Heidi Sopinka which comes out February 20th, 2018 (I was lucky enough to get an advance copy). I totally got lost in the world of Ivy Frame- a fierce, intelligent & interesting woman who escapes her bourgeois family in England to study art in Paris. She falls in love with a Russian painter, lives the bohemian life and finds inspiration for a fascinating new project at the Zoological Gardens. The main character faces a painful past and a whirlwind of emotion when she receives a letter saying that she, a 90 year-old childless woman, has a granddaughter. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it!

My Friday Fave this week is the app Flipp. This app is perfect for the digital couponer who is looking for up to date deals on groceries and much more. Flipp works based on your location, the stores you choose and the date on which you are shopping. With that information, Flipp provides you with flyers and weekly ads from those stores. You also have the option to scroll through these flyers and flag any items for your grocery list. This comes in handy if you hate grocery shopping (like me) and want to get out of the supermarket as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for stores like Walmart that will price match because you can save a ton of money by showing them the same products with cheaper prices!
Yllen:
My friends have mentioned NYX Matte Lip Cream to me for a while now and I finally tried it out and I really love it. I never really experiment with new lipsticks because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money - especially if I wasn’t feeling the colour, but with these lippies, why not?! Plus they are available at your local drug store.
Annabelle:
My fave of the week had to be the Golden Globes. I love watching award shows and this year the attendees of Golden Globes decided to take a stand against sexual harassment in Hollywood and the inequality of women’s pay and treatment in the industry (and in the world). I loved how everyone was wearing black and took a bold stand. #TimesUp!
