Our team shares their absolute FAVES of the week. What are your faves? Share with us in the comments below!
Gracie:
This week’s Friday fave was a no brainer for me - Stranger Things. Just like practically everyone else on earth right now, I’ve been obsessing over the show and binge watched not one, but two seasons this past weekend. Waiting anxiously for season 3!

My Friday Fave this week is the Toronto based company Boro. Boro is a peer-to-peer marketplace for women to list, discover, and borrow clothing from the stylish closets of Toronto - focusing on the eco-conscious idea of helping to divert barely used clothing from ending up in landfills. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a piece you will only wear once, you can rent brand name clothing and accessories for a fraction of the original price. This is shifting the way we consume - helping us value memories and moments instead of ownership of tangible items.
Plus, you can lend our your own forgotten pieces and make money on items that would otherwise be sitting in your closet. Be sure to check them out next time you are struggling to find a budget friendly, designer garment!

I’m currently loving TON Cosmetics. I have just started my journey of becoming more conscious of what I put in and on my body, and that includes my makeup. I hate the idea of animal testing, and came across a great cosmetics company that is cruelty free AND Canadian! Their collection includes both nude and red coloured lipsticks, which I’ve been loving. These shades are super cute and totally a brand with a vision I can get behind. Try them out for yourself!
Annabelle:
It’s hard to believe, but it’s already November! Winter weather is here once again, which means I will be living in my warm and comfy clothing. I’m loving my new sweater from Dynamite as it is exactly that - soft, warm and super cute. I can already tell I will be living in it most of the winter and it is making the transition from summer to winter just a little bit more bearable.

If you’ve ever watched and loved VICE’s video series MUNCHIES (now called Chef’s Night Out), MUNCHIES: Late-Night Meals from the World’s Best Chefs is SO your new fave foodie book. It captures the many awesome late-night meals (and drinks too) the team at VICE enjoyed on their culinary journeys hanging out with chefs from across the globe. You’ll find fun sections like Things With Tortillas, Morning After and Hardcore with recipes from Mexico to Tokyo.
I love having this around after a night out with friends because it usually inspires some incredible late-night eats. The book is hot off the press and is apparently the first of three to come. I can’t wait to own the entire trilogy!
