If you’ve been on the internet at all recently you probably would have seen, or at least heard about the website Zaful. Zaful is a one-stop shop for all things clothing, and is most notoriously known for their cheap and stylish bathing suits.
I’ve seen all kinds of mixed reviews about the site – a quick Google search will show you all you need to know. Is the site really great like you see all the Instagram bloggers wearing, or is the quality actually awful and not what it seems?
I decided to put this to the test and try out a few pieces for myself. After all, with low prices like these, I figured I didn’t have that much to lose. The shipment took about 3 weeks to get to me, which is a little longer than the 5-10 days promised, although I had read horror stories of packages never even showing up. The following items are reviewed based on quality, price, the resemblance to the site photos, and then given a final overall rating
High Cut Ribbed Bandeau Bikini Set – $15.49:
Of course I had to try out one of Zaful’s infamous bathing suits. I’ve been wanting to order one ever since I saw a Facebook ad promoting them years ago but was always skeptical due to their extremely low price. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the ribbed bandeau set – a piece I’ve seen all over Instagram.
Quality: I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this bathing suit. It is fairly thick and textured, meaning that it won’t be see through in the water.
Price: $15.49. I feel like I got what I paid for with this one. Considering most two piece bathing suits I’ve seen in this style are at least $50, I would say it’s a pretty good price for the piece.
Sizing: Unfortunately, even though I took the advice of the reviews section at the bottom of the page, the bathing suit was still a little small on me. I ordered a size small according to my measurements but wish I had sized up to a medium. While the bottoms are super cheeky (I don’t particularly mind that 😉 ) I can probably still get away with wearing them, but I don’t think I can ever wear the top. The annoying part is that you cannot order separate top and bottom sizes, so if you are smaller on the bottom and bigger on top (like me), you may have an issue.
Resemblance to Online Photo: I have to say, the online picture and the product I received was almost identical. There was no bait and switch and I was pleasantly surprised.
Overall Rating: Overall, I would rate this bikini 7.5/10. The price was right but the fit was not. I was happy with the quality and how it was exactly what I had expected it to be, but ladies, don’t make my mistake and be sure to order one size up!
Bowknot Stripes Top And Tiered Hem Shorts Set – $23.72
There are so many two piece matching sets on the site and wanted to give it a go. As stated with the bathing suit, this might not be the best option if you are bigger or smaller on one half of your body, as you have to order the same size in both. I pictured myself roaming around the streets of Europe in this set and was excited for it to arrive.
Quality: It’s seems like a linen-like material (but actually polyester), so it will definitely be light weight and breezy for the summer. It wasn’t see through and really not the worst quality.
Price: $23.72. By most standards this is an extremely good price for not one but TWO pieces – but for Zaful this is a little bit more on the higher end. Since ordering, the price has now gone down to $17.49, so maybe you’ll get a better deal than me!
Sizing: As Goldie Locks would say – it fit just right. I ordered a small and it was true to size. The only thing that bothers me a little are the front ties of the shirt. They are very long when tying in the front, but a tiny bit too short when tying around your waist.
Resemblance to Online Photo: Again, the photo and the item received were essentially the exact same and I was pretty happy with it.
Overall Rating: 8/10. For $20 (or $17 now!), this is a fairly good piece to have in your closet. You can throw it on over your bathing suit in the summer or just wear it around while doing errands.
Buttoned Belted Romper – Army Green – $21.16
Quality: Just like the two piece set, this piece also feels like a linen-like material, even though it is actually polyester. The fabric itself is not what I have a problem with (polyester is usually quite uncomfortable), rather I hate how wrinkly it is. This is the type of piece you throw in your suitcase for a holiday and then can’t even end up wearing because it is so wrinkled. Not so impressed
Price: $21.16 (Now 15.99). Again, for Zaful this isn’t the cheapest option, but I see that the price has now dropped to $15.99. For the quality I would say it is rather pricy.
Sizing: I got a small, and while it does fit me, I am pretty short (5’2) and feel like this was made for a taller person. There is a little bit too much fabric in the torso which is not the most figure flattering
Resemblance to Online Photo: The photo online was a bit nicer than what I got. The fabric looked like a higher quality
Overall Rating: 5/10. It’s not a bad option, but just wouldn’t be my go-to. For the price I would expect more. Maybe if it was a $5 piece I would care less.
Accessories:
Everyone’s always talking about Zaful for their bathing suits or clothing, but what about their accessories? They have a variety of cheap sunglasses that I was curious to test out. I got two pairs to test out in the sun!
Unique Metal Full Frame Oval Sunglasses -$6.10
Quality: For $6 these are great quality. They are sturdy and don’t feel like they are going to break at any moment like some other cheap sunnies you might get at a street market. Pretty impressed
Price: $6.10. You really can’t go wrong with a price like that
Sizing: These are definitely fashion sunnies and not really to be worn on a day to day basis. They are one size fit all, but know that these are very tiny fashion glasses – mostly to rest on the tip of your nose while taking Instagram photos. They are a very specific look and feel but I’m into it.

Overall Rating: 9/10. You can’t go wrong with these cheap sunnies. Maybe not your everyday pair, but deff great to have in rotation.
Anti-fatigue Full Frame Decoration Irregular Butterfly Sunglasses – $11.22
Quality: So sturdy and not made out of a super cheap plastic
Price: $11.22. Definitely a good deal
Sizing: I would recommend these if you have a smaller shaped face. As with the sunglasses above, they are meant for fashion and not necessarily as an everyday pair
Resemblance to Online Photo: Matches the photos, although I wish they would show them on an actual model to get an idea of how they would look on
Overall Rating: 10/10. I’m actually really in love with these sunnies, who knew!? They’re super stylish and I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. You can’t really wear them as a daily pair, but totally love them with a cool, fashionable outfit.
Final Thoughts
Overall, despite some pieces that I wasn’t too impressed with, I was pleasantly surprised with my order. For the most part, it was exactly what I expected. While I’m not sure I’ll be fully meshing these pieces into my summer wardrobe just yet, Zaful is a site that I would recommend for cheap, seasonal pieces. One tip I would suggest to those ordering from Zaful is to size up and to purchase the popular items – that way you know what you are getting. Happy shopping!
