Our Holiday Movie Binge Watch List:
A Christmas Story
No Christmas would be complete without watching the movie A Christmas Story. When you think of tongue and poll or leg lamp, memories will flood right back at you. This is a classic and must be seen by everyone! Children’s holiday lists have come a long way from wanting a gun for Christmas but Raphie and his story cannot be reproduced.
Home Alone
If you were born about a decade before the release of Home Alone, then you will vividly remember the story of 8 year old Kevin and his adventures with burglars trying to rob his home during Christmas. This movie must be seen year after year, as it just gets better with age – a true Hollywood gem!
Scrooged
When a cynical T.V executive is haunted by three spirits on Christmas eve, he gets a lesson on life he will never forget. Scrooged is an all time funny adaptation that will leave your heart filled with Christmas spirit! Must watch year after year!
The Nightmare Before Christmas
You can never go wrong with a Tim Burton film, in my opinion. What is most intriguing about The Nightmare Before Christmas is that Jack Skellington is the king of Halloween but in this film he attempts to bring Christmas to his town instead. This film is nothing short of interesting and playful – kids and adults alike will love it.
Elf
Elf is the movie that created a whole line of Christmas nostalgia – from clothing apparel to memes, and even a whole line of kitchen wear! This movie has something for everyone. This Christmas make a point to settle down with some popcorn and watch it again or for the very first time!
Nation Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Disastrous things happen when the Griswalds plan a Christmas get together – just like any normal family around this time of year, right? Embark on an adventure that is relatable (sort of) and get ready to laugh your toque off with Nation Lampoons Christmas Vacation!
The Santa Clause
Killing Santa on Christmas Eve? Imagine the heartache….then imagine becoming the man in red himself! The Santa Clause is a story of transformation both on the outside and the inside – a true family favourite!
