I think the first step in being the best possible you is acknowledging what you want out of life and then developing the knowledge to make it happen. For me, finding something that I truly love and was passionate about was key. Something that made me jump out of bed in the morning and think…”life is great”.
I also always remember to smile. Not only does it help to make me feel better, it seems to be contagious. Sometimes a simple smile can really brighten someone’s day, plus it just leaves me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I surround myself with people that share the same interest as me, are 100% supportive and are looking for ways to improve their happiness. Spending time with close friends and family make a huge difference in how I feel, which tends to lead to a more positive and content life.
Donating time not only enriches my life and the ones around me, but I find it so rewarding to give back and help others. On top of running this fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog, I also run a charity that brings hope to those battling cancer. Most of all, I just try to love myself and be grateful for everything and everyone in my life right now.
